There’s a common misconception that a successful career in the insurance industry is built upon having an extensive network.

Many people have the perception that…

In order to climb the ladder of success and expand their connections in this career, insurance representatives have to do the following:

  • Approach random people walking past the MRT station in a road show booth.
  • You have to be extroverted and be great at selling in order to survive in this industry.
  • You have to approach your relatives and friends or even end up burning the relationships just to hit your sales targets.

But truth be told, those methods above are inefficient in producing results in terms of building connections and getting more sales.
